Monday, June 27, 2011 represents the start of a new week and a new chapter in the Azusa Pacific story as the first academic session for Azusa Pacific Online University (APOU) kicks off. Enrolled in both the Associate of Arts and Bachelors of Arts in Management degrees, the first APOU learners begin their participation in a fully online Christ-centered educational experience.
This inaugural class of learners come to their first day in the virtual classroom having already interacted with their assigned Life Coach. Considered a distinctive of APOU, every learner has a faculty member in the classroom and a life coach, whose goal is to provide the personal and academic support towards a successful learning outcome – namely graduation!
“My prayer is that these learners would have a transformational experience that leads them to make a difference in the world.” said John Reynolds, Chief Executive Officer for Azusa Pacific Online University.
Azusa Pacific Online University has been created to offer an affordable and accessible option for learners seeking a fully online Christ-centered education. For more information visit www.apu.edu/apou
